Amie Ruditz is a visionary brand strategist with over 20 years of experience as an Entrepreneur, Operations and Marketing Director, and Event Producer in food, events and hospitality. Amie has spent her career growing businesses with passion and a commitment to excellence, successfully bringing big ideas to life. With a rich background well-versed in both wholesale and retail landscapes, Amie has a unique holistic view that allows her to see the big picture while diving deep into the details and thrive as a creative leader.

In 2019 Amie opened her dream retail store - a gourmet grocery, sandwich counter and kitchenwares shop, in the suburbs of NYC. Her shop has become a beloved and award winning destination for the finest food, catering and gifts, offering daily inspiration, joy and a warm place for her community to gather. In her role as Proprietor and Creative Director, Amie took the idea of the market from concept to launch, successfully running it as the head buyer, marketer, chef, operator, planner, and visionary, while elevating local brands and farmers, and supporting international indie food makers.

For 15 years prior, Amie dedicated herself to nurturing and growing a fine food and wine import and distribution company, as its Operations, Event and Marketing Director, as well as a shareholder. Amie was responsible for running all aspects of the US operation, and during her time there, became an expert in so many areas, from managing international and US based clients, overseeing all US marketing and public relations for 22+ wine brands, international logistics, event planning, business development, financial oversight, sales, team management, operations optimization and more.

When Amie began her career with the company, she tasted good olive oil for the first time. This epiphany changed her life, shaping the way she approached food moving forward, and setting her course for the next two decades to come. Amie started and grew a food portfolio within the business, and introduced some of the best chefs in NYC to Italy’s finest foods, creating private label foods for select restaurants.

Through her relationships with chefs, and the companies roots in Italy, Amie saw an opportunity to develop a culinary retreat program, and introduced a ten year old series that brought elevated, once in a lifetime culinary and wellness experiences to life. Amie partnered with well known food personalities and chefs, including James Beard Award winners, as well as wellness experts, to curate, market, produce and run these exceptional week long adventures. What started as an idea, became an integral part of the businesses.

Amie is also a serial entrepreneur, home decorating enthusiast, potter, amateur gardener, hip hop dancing, eternally optimistic soccer mom, who loves spoiling her family and friends with delicious foods prepared simply and presented beautifully.

Some of Amie’s favorite personal projects include creating a private label wine with one of her favorite rock bands, bringing to life a line of home accessories using vintage fabrics sourced in Guatemala, creating her own private olive oil brand, working as an event photographer at celebrity chef filled fundraisers.
